A fantastic group dedicated to helping our vets deal with the scars of combat Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Military sexual trauma (MST) . Many veterans have been wounded, not only physically, but also mentally, to find themselves struggling to return to civilian life after service to our country. Healing America’s Heroes is founded and dedicated to helping veterans improve and enrich their lives, ensure successful treatment options are available to those veterans in need, and to raise awareness and public interest in helping veterans who have served our country.

Mission: The mission of Healing America’s Heroes is “Helping veterans help themselves.” through the use of recreational therapeutic support programs and vocational training programs for veterans affected by service to our country.
Target demographics: Veterans and their families.
Geographic areas served: New Mexico
Programs: Recreational therapeutic support services for veterans suffering from PTSD, MST, and TBI. There is no cost for veterans and their families to participate in our programs. Our programs improve the quality of life for veterans and their families. Our commitment, leadership, and mission will ensure that Healing America’s Heroes becomes a year around, national wellness and resource center for veterans and their families for years to come.
