Mission: Habitat for humanity international is a christian organization that welcomes volunteers from all faiths who are committed to habitat's goal of eliminating poverty. Homes are sold at no profit, to families who may not otherwise be able to obtain a home. Homeowners contribute 'sweat equity' toward home building and homeowner payments are reused to build additional homes.
Programs: During tax year 2016, central peninsula habitat for humanity built 1 home, and began a second project for a new family.
