Programs: Gulfside hospice & pasco palliative care provides quality hospice and palliative care to all terminally ill persons regardless of race,color, creed, gender or national origin. The organization provides extensive outreach, including screenings at local health fairs, andprovides training, both in-house and to the community, on topics such as hospice care, alternative therapies, disease symptoms and prognosis, and death/dying.
bereavement services are provided to patients' families and caregivers as part of the hospice benefit. The organization provides a telephone assurance program, anticipatory grief services, individual and group counseling, support groups and various services and programs for children. Grief counseling is also provided for community survivors through support groups. During the tax year ended june 30, 2017, the organization provided mental health services to 2,127 patients.
