Mission: This corporation is organized and shall be operated exclusively for needs and long-term care of the elderly with the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986 and specifically to provide nursing, social, and other services to people age 65 and older in their homes.
Programs: The specific purposes for which the corporation is organized is the mobilization of volunteers and resources to assist the mature adults of gray county to live safely and independently in their own homes for as long as is reasonably possible.
to establish a community-based system of service delivery which uses community volunteer personnel to provide directly or in coordination with appropriate agencies and resources, those needs and social services needed by residents who are 65 years of age and above (any exception in the age of clients served shall be determined by the coordinator and/or board of directors)
to demonstrate a model of long-term care and promotion of independent living which enhances the quality of life for neighborhood residents and enables them to remain in their own homes and to avoid unnecessary or premature institutionalization.
