Causes: Job Training, Vocational Rehabilitation
Mission: The organization provides day training and habilitation services for adults with intellectual & developmental disabilities in a person centered planning manner to enhance their life experience.
Programs: As stated in part iii, 1 above, in addition to helping with employment, our purpose is to provide life enrichment activities for the persons served. For the population we serve in our program, life enrichment activities is becoming the main choice and focus of the persons served. We recently received a statewide 'life enrichment award' from our state trade association for providing innovative services for starting up a greenhouse operation at one of our locations. We hope to expand this service to our second site in the coming years.
