Mission: Provide safe, secure, housing for people in itasca county needing temporary shelter.
Programs: Grace house provides overnight shelter and 3 meals per day. Grace house also provides day center services offering case management, referral and one-on-one assistance. Opportunities are provided for volunteering, learning basic life skills, education and assistance for transitional skills. Grace house serves as a site for those needing to do community service hours and for individuals from the local community college needing sites for internships. In 2017 over 125 volunteers prvodied 6165 hours of service. The organization partnered with others such as kootasca community action, northland counseling center and the salvation army. In 2017 70% of guests secured stable housing and 29% found employment. In addition 166 guests were serviced providing them with 3213 nights of shelter and 4449 meals. The facilitiy was 88% full with an average stay of 19. 5 nights.
