I adopted the SWEETESTTTT BOY Gray in January of this year from cindy . Cindy was so kind and caring throughout the whole process. From the moment I first spoke to cindy I knew she had the biggest heart for these animals. Her and gray had an amazing bond and was very open and honest about Gray's shy past. She would check in periodically, along with being very helpful with any questions. 10/10 experience through and through. Forever grateful for the sweetheart fur baby!!
Cindy at GARC has been great to work with. I first found the rescue when I found a kitten in a parking garage far away from any residential area. The kitten had severe injuries including a broken leg and lacerations. I contacted every rescue I could find in the area and all were on an intake hold or not able to help. When I contacted Cindy at GARC she was very concerned about the kittens health and got him into the vet the same day. He ended up staying several days in the hospital with a high fever and had his leg amputated. I agreed to foster the kitten through his illness and will most likely afopt him. Cindy checks in with me multiple times a week to see how the kitten is doing and if we need any supplies. Cindy is an angel to all of the animals and people she has helped through GARC, she cares about the volunteers and adopting families beyond the foster/adoption period. Without the caring generosity of GARC this sweet kitten would not have made it. He is now a happy thriving Tri Pawd
We adopted a small hair black female cat who all of us just adore her name is Yuri she's almost 1 and a ball.of fun grace animal rehab center was very professional and she the owner makes sure to keep in. Contact with us which shows the care and concern she has for her animals.
My relationship with G.A.R.C. so far has been limited to helping out with fundraising ideas. Cindy is one of the most dedicated people I know. She is totally devoted to her animals and has come up with many interesting ways to raise money for their care and comfort. She is an amazing business woman with a huge heart for her cats and dogs. That is a rare combination!
I am so impressed and grateful for GARC and incredible human who runs it, Cindy. She cares so much for the dogs and cats she rescues and helps find forever homes. Cindy personally goes out to rescue discarded and abandoned animals, even if it requires several days of earning their trust. She creates a fun and caring environment and vettes potential owners so the animals end up in loving homes that are a good match for both. GARC is so needed and I'm thankful for all it does for stray and abandoned animals.
In a city like the Tulsa metro area where homeless animals are an epidemic, people like Cindy are few and far between. Cindy is doing God’s work and deserves all the support she needs!
Grace Animal Rehabilitation Center is a phenomenal resource for pets in need. The founder, Cindy, cares deeply about cats' and dogs' quality of life and does everything she can to rescue them and place them in loving homes. GARC provides vet attention when needed and doesn't let any animal that can be saved go without. Plus, GARC puts on fantastic fundraisers, such as their annual Picture with Santa event. GARC is donation-worthy, and if you want to add an animal to your family, look here first.
I have been so impressed with Cindy’s dedication to the animals at GARC. Her commitment to finding excellent homes for even those who are hard to adopt is exceptional. She works tirelessly to rehabilitate and care for the animals, and also to increase public outreach and education. She is constantly coming up with new ideas and innovations to improve adoption rates, public interactions and animal care.
We love our Ruby. She gets along with all of our animals. Grace animal rehabilitation center is great!
I adopted Kenai after GARC brought him in from the streets. As I was getting ready to adopt him, GARC provided such amazing care for him. By the time he came home with me, he was such a sweet and loving boy who had learned to trust humans more. I am absolutely obsessed and I am so thankful to GARC for caring about this lil’ dude like no one else would have. They gave him a second chance.
We adopted Rita just 4 days ago so we are still really just getting to know each other, but Rita has been so sweet even though you can tell that the new adjustments are a bit stressful for her. She likes her space but comes out to say hi and get lovins from us when she's ready! She is my cuddle buddy at night! As for the rescue center, you can tell that these animals mean so much to them and that is so awesome! It takes a huge heart to give that much love to so many animals that need and deserve it! ❤️
So we added a member to our ever growing family!! Her name is Rina, she is Rita's sister! She loves cuddles and being pet at all times she is very smart and loves to play catch! Adopting Rina has also helped Rita come out of her shell and she really feels more at home with her sister by her side! They are beautiful wonderful dogs thay will be part of our family for a very long time! Cindy is one of those rare individuals who will give her all to help animals in need no matter the circumstance or difficulty. I am constantly amazed at her determination and dedication in rescuing and helping animals that need it. If I am aware of an animal in need, she is my go to person for help.
I adopted a cat from GARC and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. If you are thinking of getting an animal, please adopt from this shelter. They are amazing
I found GARC after finding a stray cat that needed a home. My cat doesn’t tolerate other pets so I needed help to find it a home. I called several organizations and Cindy called me back immediately offering help. With GARC’s help, the little stray found the perfect home! After my cat Lulu passed, I fostered a cat through GARC and decided to keep him! Sammy has been a special addition to my family, my sweet little buddy! Thank you Cindy!
I helped Cindy with the budget and to put an order in the Center's financials. Cindy is absolutely passionate and dedicated in what she is doing. Remarkable.
Good luck!
Mario
Thanks to Cindy, we were able to find the missing piece to our little family! Our angel baby was just waiting for us! Lilgurl has a very happy home with us and has made our life complete!! She loves to spend her days playing, eating, and lounging in the sun!!
I worked with Cindy-voluntarily- to promote this charity on Facebook. People loved it. The work Grace Animal Center is doing is really important and they leave a true impact. We need more people like this.
Volunteered as a video editor for Grace Animal Rehabilitation Center and my experience was great! Cindy was very kind and caring as a person which motivated me a lot during my work. I grew to love the nonprofit and the passionate work that GARC provides. I recommend getting involved!
There was just something about Annie...
I found out about Annie while searching through a pet finder app. I saw her picture and immediately felt a connection. I read her story about how she had been a young feral cat who had lost most of her kittens due to starvation before they found her and brought her in to safety. I read about how sweet she was once she got through her shyness. I cried imagining what Annie must have been through in her young life. I knew I had a place for Annie in my heart and home. I knew I would wait for Annie...
When we got Annie home and "let the cat out of the bag" as they say, Annie did not want anything to do with us. She was terrified. She hid, she hissed if we got too close. We were worried. I kept in my mind that the Grace Animal Rehab Specialist, Cindy, said it would take 2 weeks to 2 months for her to adjust. Okay, this was for Annie... we knew she just needed time and patience. We let her be and talked to her throughout the day every day in sweet tones. Seeing her distressed and having a nurturing spirit myself, it was hard to give Annie the space to adjust without my help and comforting. All I could do for Annie was talk to her and reassure her that she was safe. Every week Cindy checked on Annie's progress and that was so reassuring. Cindy gave me tips and suggestions that were so very much appreciated. It got me through all the stages of transition Annie went through. Every week Annie made progression towards relaxing into her new environment with her new humans. Every week she looked over her shoulder less and less. Things really took an interesting turn one night when we heard Annie meowing in the other room. She sounded lonely but she wouldn't let us near her. It was heart breaking. So, I decided to meow back. To my surprise Annie immediately responded and came running to see where the meowing was coming from. Once she settled that it was not a cat under the bed she came out and stared at me as I meowed and she started meowing back. Then my fiancé joined in. Haha. Yes, all three of us were meowing at each other. The biggest thing here is that this was the first night Annie slept in the same room as us and from then on she slept under our bed and still does. Amazing.
I saw Cinder’s picture and instantly fell in love! I got a quick response when I contacted Cindy at Grace. She was very thorough when considering Cinder’s adoption, which I appreciated. She worked out a time that was convenient for me and has followed up several times to see how my baby kitty is doing!
Hi a while back I rescued a pup on the highway it was with another pup. anyway I was trying to work her into being wih my dogs. it was good for a few months then my pup and her started fighting to be dominant female! I contacted several rescue shelters to no help. all were full or didnt want to help. I contacted Cindy at Grace and she took her in. Now Frisco has a forever home and is called Lilly now. Many thanks to Cindy and Grace.
There was a feral female cat in my neighborhood who would come to my house to eat. She was so afraid of humans that I could hardly look at her without her running away. She was pregnant with her second litter and wasn't even a year old yet. I reached out to Cindy at GARC for advice on getting the cat off the streets and spayed. Cindy told me she would take her and was confident the cat would be able to be a loving pet for someone one day. I trapped the cat and took her to GARC. Cindy was so loving and patient with her. She gave her nutritious food, veterinarian care, lots of tlc and had her spayed. The cat whose name now is Annie is ready to be adopted. She is well adjusted, affectionate and happy. I am thankful to Cindy and GARC for all that she does for homeless and neglected animals.
We got Pete from Grace Animal Rehab Center and we are so thankful that we did! He is a very smart cat and just fit right in with my husband and son - which is saying a lot since hubby is not into cats. Cindy gave us helpful tips in helping Pete get accustomed to his new home and also in caring for him. Cindy really cares for these animals and does a great job finding them their forever homes.
Great experience! Our sweet dog was properly trained and taught well behaviors. She’s been the perfect fit for our infant daughter.
Hiu-Yee is a wonderful person who deeply cares about each and every animal she saves. She loves all animals and does everything she can to help them.
Hello. I adopted two Ragamuffin cats (Prince Bentley & Princess Belle) from Cindy about two years ago. I met Cindy at their house to meet the Momcat and two cats. Bentley and Belle give me so much joy, unconditional love, and lots of laughs. Prince Bentley was very helpful when several months ago Duke "Baby" Zeus, a red and white Maine Coon was adopted into the tribe. He was brother and friend to Zeus. Princess Belle has given the two boys the nickname, "The Zoomie Brothers". I donate to Grace Animal Rehab on a monthly basis. I believe in their mission and how much love/concern they show the animals. Cindy wants the animals to have their "forever" home. I feel so blessed to share my life with Prince Bentley and Princess Belle along with Queen Missy & Duke Zeus .
Adopted a cat that I name Sadie and absolutely love her to death. She’s orange so she’s a weirdo but I love her. Really helped me with my anxiety!
I adopted a cat from grace animal rehab. It's a very good organization to help dogs and cats who dont have a home. I got help on how to get the cats to get along.
I first learned of Grace Animal Rehab Center (GARC) in October 2020. On Wednesday, October 14th, 2020, I lost my 15 and a half year old cat, Angel. I was devastated and not doing well. The grief was consuming me. I realized I needed to find another kitty to help me through the grieving process. I found GARC through the PetSmart charities online. I was looking for a Ginger cat and that's when I saw a picture of a sweet rescue ginger cat, Elenore. I knew I just had to meet her. I met her on October 15th and there was no doubt she was the one. I filled out the adoption application and then waited to hear back. The next day, Friday, October 16th, Cindy called me and said I could pick Elenore up that afternoon. I was so happy and couldn't wait to get off work and go pick her up. I renamed her Isabella. She immediately made herself at home. I am so thankful to have her in my life. She came to me during a very dark and painful time. We rescued each other. She's so sweet, cuddly and a purr machine. I am so thankful for GARC rescuing her from the streets and saving her life! I can't even fathom my life without her!
I connected with Grace Animal Rehabilitation to adopt two cats in March of 2021. She had several to choose from. I had never owned cats whom had been feral before. She taught me how to work with them to get them to become accustomed to having a loving home. She made sure they were well taken care of and she also works with them at the rehab to get them tame. She truly cares about the animals and is very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, she has to run the rehab on donations so please donate to the cause. Getting the animals spade or neutered plus the shots is very expensive. Cindy could also use volunteers to help her out at the rehab in Sapulpa.
