Mission: GlobalEyes focuses on the empowerment of youth and women educationally, economically and socially to enhance the holistic well-being of individuals and communities. GlobalEyes develops and supports entrepreneurial and social projects that improve educational access and quality, encourage gender equity, advance healthcare and protect environmental livelihood. GlobalEyes assigns priority to projects that innovatively use technology.
Programs: GlobalEyes supports local NGOs in Kenya, including Obede Primary School, Children Rescue Mission, Kenya and Tropical Focus for Rural Development. Children Rescue Mission, Kenya developed in 2005 from informal gifts of food rations and clothing to destitute children wherever they stayed. Now a full service orphanage and feeding center, Children Rescue Mission, Kenya works to provide shelter, food and educational opportunity to vulnerable children, orphaned by HIV/AIDS, in the villages of Kajwang, Karombo, Kogony and Kanyakwar. Tropical Focus for Rural Development not only supports Obede Primary School and Children Rescue Mission, Kenya, but also strives to improve the livelihoods of targeted rural poor (primarily widows and their families) through social entrepreneurship projects. By providing training and supplies, these programs are designed to promote socio-economic rehabilitation against the effects of HIV/AIDS, support in the educating and sheltering of the most disadvantaged children and sustain basic rural infrastructures through stable income generation.
