Mission: The purpose of the corporation is to provide real life skills training to girls of all ages and to provide this program to underpriviledged, minority, and underservced girls.
Programs: Girlskills provided a limited number of programs during 2013 due to lack of funding. The purpose of the programs are to have in depth discussions, handouts of materials, interactive examples, and guest speakers on topics ranging from health and fitness, community service, career planning & social skills. Programs are designed to involve young women in discussions involving their level of knowledge of the topic, exploring new areas of involvement & personal responsibility and discovering areas of interest & personal preferences. The programs are to be in the classroom environment.
