Mission: We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
Programs: Girls on the run is a developmentally focused youth sport development program designed specifically for elementary and middle school girls. The program uses running as a vehicle to influence positive social, cognitive, physical, emotional and psychological assets and development. Volunteer coaches deliver a research-driven running curriculum in biweekly sessions for 10 to 12 weeks. The girls train toward the completion of a 5k run/walk, a large community-wide event held at the end of the session.
