Girl Talk is one of the most amazing programs I have been involved in. I started in 6th grade as a Girl Talk girl and I am now a Girl Talk Leader. During middle school, Girl Talk gave me role models to look up to and admire. It also gave me a place to be able to talk about issues in a safe place with no pressure. Now, as a leader, I absolutely love that I have the opportunity to help younger girls overcome their issues. I still feel the impact when I know that I am helping girls or being a role model for them.

Mission: Girl Talk's mission is simple, we exist to help young girls build self esteem, leadership skills and to help recognize the value of community service.
Results: -Girl Talk has reached over 30,000 girls through the existing Chapters in 42 states and 3 countries -Girl Talk girls across the U.S. completed over 312,000 of community service (in addition to running their Chapters) -We strongly believe that if girls are taken care of emotionally they will excel academically -83% of middle school girls who attend Girl Talk have become Girl Talk Leaders in high school -Girls who attended Girl Talk showed an academic improvement of 14% in math and 24% in language arts
