The Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida serevs over 16,000 girls ages 5-17 in Miami Dade and MOnroe Counties and is committed to creating environmental awareness and leadership through the Girl Scouts Forever Green Community Action Project. The Council plans to be recognized for its leadership role in environmental advocacy in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties, and for offering outdoor educational experiences that create sustainablility for the future!. April 18th , 2010 marks the beginning of the Countdown the 100th Anniversary of the Girl Scout Movement, a champion for the environment and all things GREEN!!! Girl Scout Forever Green.
