Causes: Children & Youth, Girl Scouts of the U.S.A.
Mission: To provide direct services to the community for the advancement anddevelopment of girls and young women.
Programs: Programs that will meet the development, educational, emotional and social needs and interests of girls ages 5-17 through experiences that involve making decisions and discoveries for themselves. These programs will help support the experiences which encourage girls to develop to their fullest potential with emphasis on developing self-potential, relating to others, developing values, and contributing to society. These programs will also help develop the girls resourcefulness, initiative and self-reliance. These programs will provide training in citizenship through community living. During fiscal year 2017, over 10,000 girls were served by these programs.
