Mission: Girl Scouts of the USA was founded in 1912 to provide a values-based, inclusive, informal education program for girls aged 5-17. The national organization comprises approximately 319 councils in the United States. The St. Croix Valley council serves approximately one in seven girls in 11 counties of eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin. We help girls grow strong through varied and diverse program opportunities that focus on everything from sports to science and technology to career exploration. With the support of committed adult volunteers, girls in our program discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls together.
