Mission: To improve the lives of animals in need.
Programs: Furry friends rockin' rescue inc (ffrr) seeks to match the right animals with the right people. In order to improve the lives of animals, they do the following: 1) take in abandoned or neglected animals: this step includes moving animals from hazardous or unwanted situations to stable and safe conditions. Costs include transportation and foster costs. 2) see to the veterinary needs for each animal: ffrr arranges and pays for veterinary care for the animals in the foster homes. 3) find a life situation that matches their personality: ffrr finds each animal a long-term home fitting its specific needs. About 2/3 of the expenses incurred by ffrr fall into step 2 above. Ffrr is a foster-based rescue, meaning there is currently no fixed location. During 2017, over 350 animals were placed into loving homes. Another 350 animals were transferred to other out-of-state agencies serving similar missions.
