Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Friends of the goss opera house inc. Is a non-profit corporation and shall be responsible for the restoration, preservation, and maintenance of the historic goss opera house in watertown. It also will be used for staging live theatrical and musical productions for the enrichment of life in watertown and providing recreation, entertainment and education for the citizens of the greater watertown area.
Programs: The friends of the goss opera house inc. Assisted during 2017 in keeping the building in a functional, operational condition as the organization pursued a purchase agreement to acquire the building on behalf of the foundation. A purchase agreement has been entered into to buy the building from its owner as of july 6, 2018.
