Performers may do acrobatics, animal tricks, balloon twisting, clowning, comedy, contortionism, dance, fire eating or breathing, fortune-telling, juggling, magic, miming, musical performance, puppeteering, street art such as sketching and painting, street theatre, sword swallowing, and more! This event was designed to capture the eclectic flavor of the city market by expanding on the typical strolling musicians and entertainment that graces the market square; this event will bring even more out of the box entertainment to the city market. This event was free to the public.

the mid american regional council provided grant funds for a compost program to improve and increase the recycling program with a goal to ultimately divert more waste by improving accessibility and increased participation from city market tenants. Culinary adventurers will purchase a passport to dine that will be their ticket to a free taste or small plate from series of participating restaurants that best represents their culinary point of view. In addition to the food items included in the passport price, the passport will also grant the holder access to even more food and drink specials at each establishment! A live musician was positioned on street corners along the event route to provide ambiance throughout the river market district as patrons try the restaurant offerings. This event was open to the public and cost $20 per person.
