I grew up in Camden County. My Mom (Barbara Purcell) raised 4 kids while my Dad (John) often traveled with the Coast Guard. Raising four kids is unimaginable to me! My Mom got us involved with the local library reading contests, library cards, and the book mobile. I still remember how exciting it was when the book mobile came to our neighborhood and we could check out a few books. My Christmas gift on behalf of my Mom is a donation to the Camden Library.
