Our library has held an important place in my life since moving to Marlborough a little more than ten years ago - I got my membership the same day that I rented a post office mailbox and registered my car. All of the staff quickly became friends, and there were more friendships awaiting me in the monthly book group. Then came the COVID Stay Safe At Home. For months Kristin worked tirelessly to keep us safe and sane through a coordinated book exchange. Patrons were able to feel connected to each other through her emails, and Jane has kept our book group connected with monthly Zoom chats. Those emails and participating in the service was a reminder that though we may be alone in our homes, we are part of this wonderful family of readers here in our little community. How wonderful it was that Kristin, Jane and the Friends of the Library designed a plan to safely allow patrons back into the library for personal browsing among the books, and more importantly, to have an in-person conversation (through a protective shield) with them. And how wonderful to meet up with other Frost Free Library friends in the parking lot. I think I speak for many when I say that our library is one of the memories I will treasure when I look back on this most unusual time.

We love our Frost Free Library! Kristin and the team are always so pleasant! My family enjoys going to the library, where they know us by name and welcome us with open arms. We always feel at home to browse books, sit and craft and take advantage of the relaxing atmosphere that the library offers. Kristin always helps me find the books I'm interested in and will often have them waiting for me on the counter when I arrive. She knows the genres and titles of interest for our three children and she's always willing to put book bags together for them to enjoy. We have all the love for Frost Free!!

The Friends of the Frost Free Library really do what it takes to support our beloved library- our little family enjoys the well loved gardens and the many other details the Friends help to make it feel like the beloved community resource it is.

Working with volunteers at the Frost Free Library in Marlborough NH has been a pleasure and a source of pride. We have both an ongoing book sale and an annual book sale. We take book donations and have sent books to prison, to homes, to soldiers where they are stationed. We maintain the Library gardens and provide a monthly tea time to the community. We are close to our fundraising goal of $80,000 for a Library addition which will provide access, public space for the community not restricted to Library operating hours.

The Frost Free Library has always supported me and my family finding exactly what we need! They have ordered books through the ILL program here in NH that they were unable to find in their library. I'm also the school Librarian in the same town and I love to work with Kristin and everyone there to share our collections and offer programs. :)

When I was a little girl my favorite thing to do was to go to the library, run up the front path into the door and greet Miss Page. I would come out of the library with several books to read, and I was all set for the next few days.

The Frost Free Library comes to my kindergarten class at the Marlborough school To read a story and provide library cards for the students that have difficulty getting to the library. They also support the Marlborough school with our initiative on supporting mental health in our community.

My son loves going to the Frost Free Library every week. Each year he has grown in his reading level. The ladies at the library go out of their way to find stories that he enjoys reading and audio books to help him with his reading comprehension. He always finds a DVD too! This library is a gift to the community!

Frost Free Library is the hub of our small community. A wide variety of activities for various age levels are frequently offered and always well attended. The librarians go beyond the call of duty to let us know when a new book that might interest us has arrived. The biggest lost for many during Covid has been the loss of our favorite gathering place, our library. We are so grateful now to be able to walk through the door, wander the shelves and say 'hello' to the special staff.
