earn-a-bike classes are six sessions in which students ages 12-18 repair a donated bike for younger children, repair a bike for themselves, and learn basic bike riding safety and skills. The last session is a neighborhood bike ride, before students are invited to join bike clubs.
let's get rolling is a school-based bicycle safety program for 4th and 5th grade students. The core of the program is bike safety classes in physical education classrooms. We supplement the basics with a bike safety event where we give away the bikes repaired by our older students, and with "rolling school bus" programs to encourage kids to ride their bikes to school.
