As the mom of a young student in the district, I was eager to get involved in supporting our district's education system. Becoming a board member for the Foundation has opened my eyes to the unwavering dedication the members have to ensuring the highest level of excellence for every kid. As a completely volunteer-led organization, board members and volunteers dedicate all of their extra time to furthering the mission and because of this, the Foundation has given over $1M to the district!
The Foundation for MERS has been working hard to raise funds for the PreK-8th grade schools in the district for over ten years now. They have donated over $1,000,000 in educational resources to the schools to help facilitate the most successful learning environment for the children within the district. I am proud to be a member of this Foundation that makes such a big difference in childrens' education.
