Volunteering Oportunities

Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals

Mission: It is our mission to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless animals. We work tirelessly to save and rehabilitate both physically and mentally abused animals. Every animal is given as much time and care as needed. We strive to help and educate the public on the importance of pet sterilization, responsible pet ownership, and the humane treatment of all these wonderful animals. We are a foster based rescue, which means we do not have a physical location.

Results: We continue to pull many dogs and cats in need of medical help as well as those who are in danger in overfilled shelters. In the past year, we have helped many heartworm positive dogs, pulled numerous dogs off euthanasia lists, expanded our efforts to even more shelters and are actively pursuing new fosters so that we can help more. Our journey continues but we need your help!

Target demographics: protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless animals. We work tirelessly to save and rehabilitate both physically and mentally abused animals. Every animal is given as much time and care as needed; as euthanasia is not an option.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 50 animals find forever homes

Geographic areas served: Cleveland, OH

Programs: educating the public on the importance of pet sterilization, responsible pet ownership, and the humane treatment of all these wonderful animals. Rescuing from abusive situations and high kill shelters.

This rescue is deeply invested in the dogs they rescue! I am a first time foster for them and they are organized and supportive and knowledgeable! My foster dog has gotten everything he needs and more. They are available whenever I need advice or direction and are not cheap about what their rescued animals need!!

Forget Me Not Animal Rescue stepped up to the plate when others were unwilling. My neighbor Barb and I are so GRATEFUL they could help us out when we had a Momma cat have 4 babies in our yards. They were very helpful in educating us on working with feral cats. And able to take them in to foster them so they can find FORVER homes, when others were turning us away because we were told it's "kitten" season. We are forever grateful and will continue to support them in any way we can so they can keep up there hard work.

Forget me not Rescue is the best! They helped us place a beautiful dog that we rescued in a loving foster home. The owner of the company met us at the home and spent hours making sure the foster family, my wife and I and the puppy were all happy! Truly doing amazing things for all of the four legged creatures in need.

I have had an awesome experience with the volunteers and "staff". They go above and beyond to help with fostering and the whole adoption process.

FGMN does incredible, life changing work in the rescue community. They frequently take on the animals with huge medical needs, often despite not having funding or financial backing to do so. They do this because they believe every animal's life is of value. Euthanasia is never an option for them. They have saved so many!

Dedicated group of people with a passion for helping animals. They go above and beyond most in caring for the well being of those animals they rescue. I have had the pleasure of working with them and several of their foster animals.
