Causes: Food, Food, Agriculture & Nutrition
Mission: Establish a central foundation for north florida to identify chronically hungry school age children, maximize resources, develop volunteers from the community and schools, and coordinate distribution of food to children in need.
Programs: Food4kids backpack program has established a foundation to serve chronically hungry hungry students through 28 schools partners, utilizes volunteer and community support to maximize the resources needed for food and backpack supplies, and coordinates with each partner school to identify the students in need and for distribution of the food. The program served over 27,170 individuals this tax year.
