Mission: Created by the Florida Legislature in 1990, the Florida Endowment Foundation for Vocational Rehabilitation is the parent organization of The Able Trust. The Able Trust is a public-private partnership foundation with a purpose to provide support for the employment of Floridians with disabilities and to promote public awareness about the vocational rehabilitation process. Since its establishment, The Able Trust has approved over $21 million in grants to individuals and nonprofit agencies, enabling over 2,000 Floridians with disabilities to enter the workforce each year.
