Causes: Children & Youth, Golf, Recreation & Sports, Sports, Youth Development
Mission: First Tee – Silicon Valley is a unique youth development program providing high quality educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices seamlessly through the game of golf.
Results: We teach our life skills curriculum to over 1,100 youth on the golf course and 14,000 youth in schools and in the community annually, thus serving over 81,234 young people since 2005.
Target demographics: Youth ages 5 to 18
Direct beneficiaries per year: Helped 81K Youth in Silicon Valley since 2005
Geographic areas served: The South Bay Area, covering all of Santa Clara Country.
Programs: Classes at our South Bay partner locations, and financial assistance for youth to take those classes. Also offering tools and coaching to Silicon Valley Title I schools to set-up First Tee classes/programs.
