Mission: To function as the fundraising arm of the hospital in support of its mission and charitable purposes. The foundation offers a way for community residents and businesses to directly invest in equipment, services and programs to enhance patient care and the quality of life in fayette county.
Programs: In working within the community to increase awareness of the hospital needs, the foundation directors, who volunteer their time, also are able to increase awareness of the healthcare services and prorams available to the community. The executive director is employed by the hospital and the operating budget for the foundation is included in the hospital budget allowing for 100% of the donated funds to be used to fulfill their mission. In 2014, the foundation started a campaign to raise funds for a digital mammography unit and women's wellness center. The women's wellness center was completed and opened in september of 2015. The board raises funds to purchase needed hospital equipment.
in the fall of 2010, fayette county ranked second out of more than 30 ohio counties in the susan g. Komen for the cure columbus service area for breast cancer mortality. The fcmh foundation office worked with the susan g. Komen for the cure columbus affiliate to perform a focus group study to determine the barriers fayette county residents faced in getting screening mammograms. In december of 2011, tanger outlets made a generous donation through their pink style campaign to provide mammograms for the uninsured and underinsured. With this funding and the results from the focus group study, the fcmh partners in pink mammography program was established by team members of fcmh and fcmh foundation. They recognized the fact that it would have to be a collaborative effort in order to create swift and positive change. Tanger outlets continues to raise money to contribute to this campaign annually. Tanger continues to collaborate with the foundation to raise funds for the mammography program.

The partners in pink mammography program: focuses on providing screening mammograms at no cost for women age 40 and over who are uninsured or undersinsured and meet the program's financial guidelines; provides diagnostic mammography services (diagnostic mammogram and/or ultrasound) to individuals in need of this service regardless of age, male or female, who uninsured or underinsured and meet the program's financial guidelines; serves residents of fayette county (residents of the entire village of new holland are included); provides transportation to fayette county memorial hospital for the mammography services for those without transportation; increases breast health awareness with an emphasis on the importance of early detection through various educational programs.
