When I started volunteering with FEW, I didn't understand the potential and impact that the organization had. Working with the FEW staff shifted the dark cloud and provided the ray of light of all possibilities. I am absolutely honored to serve on the board and would not trade the experience of helping other exceed their potential for anything in the world. I will serve at any level in order to continue to touch and change the lives of others. Thanks FEW for all that you do!!!
FEW is an innovative organization. The visions are wonderful because they give hope to women/ girls all around the globe support and hope. Although this organization isn't just limited to females, men and boys are also entwined in the mission FEW is about. I'm very excited about their launch in January. PS: It's going to be EPIC, I'm sure of it!
I attended an event by the women of FEW and I have to just say that the feel and energy was incredible. These women are beautiful, humble, warm and hard working. Everything about this organization amazing. I wish them the best and hope for longevity. I am happy to have had the experience.
It has been a sincere pleasure to work with the staff of Fashion Empopwering Women. As a philanthropy expert, FEW is one of a handful of organizations with unique insight on mobilizing creatives and the passion and energy to execute such a grande mission. The rich, supportive organizational culture is infectious. I look forward to great things from FEW, a beacon of hope that young professionals can and will be philanthropic if/when engaged.
I attended my first FEW event this week at Dirty Martini in DC. I didn't know what to expect but was honored to meet such dedicated smart, focused young people. Desiree Venn Frederic is an amazing woman. Her level of commitment is apparent and her spriit is condusive to leading such an organization.
My husband and I proudly support FEW because of their commitment to partner with community organizations that support young girls and women to make changes in their lives in a wide variety of areas such as teen pregnancy, substance abuse, gender inequality, and rape victims.
FEW provides opportunities for young professionals to be active contributors to our communities-CREATIVE ACTIVISTS. It's inspiring to see women and men in their 20's and 30's take such a strong stand against what ails us-our communities. I unite with FEW in "creating a world as it ought to be." The movement is feasible, the means are innovative, the results are tangible.
I met the awesome women of FEW earlier this year, I was instantly drawn in by their passion, commitment and dedication to empowering women and supporting non-profits. As part of the cast of the Vagina Monologues, I was blown away at the level of partnership and support that played a huge part of the event's success. The women and men that run FEW are truly about their business of serving and empowering. I felt part of a powerful team making huge impacts in the world.
FEW is a wonderful non-profit making a difference for women and girls by way of great programming and an awesome, dedicated staff. I had the pleasure of working with this organization on their recent V-Day Production, in which two of my agency's clients were monologists. I look forward to seeing the organization grow in impact.
Keep up the great work.

I have know the founding director, Desiree Venn Frederic, for several years and have always admired her passion for volunteerism. She gives freely of her time and talent. With her passion and vision, Fashion Empowering Women Foundation is positioned for greatness. The use of fashion, film and music to support non-profits in our community is not only innovative but feasible. Everyone has the great ability to contribute to society and FEW provides a a mechanism that allows them to give of the talent, time, platform and resources to support the neediest in our community. FEW achieves sustainable results for a deserving nonprofit organizations in our community. The concept is ingenious. The impact, real.
I supported Fashion Empowering Women Foundation during their production of The Vagina Monologues in April 2011 benefitting Our Place, DC, The DC Fashion Foundation and girls and women in Haiti. I was impressed by the passion and charisma of FEW's leadership team. A vibrant and incredibly intelligent group of women who have found their purpose in supporting nonprofits that empower girls and women. FEW's Social Innovator Volunteer Corp has provided me the opportunity to give back in a ways that makes sense for me. Tangible, concise yet immensely impactful. I am a Social Innovator and I support FEW for MANY!!
