Causes: Human Service Organizations, Human Services
Mission: Encompass provides resources for individuals of all ages with adoptive, foster, kinship care, or similar adverse childhood experiences, as well as their families. Our goal is to help create bridges to encourage awareness, facilitate discussion, provide educational resources, and build community among individuals with these experiences, within families, and throughout the local Columbus area.
Target demographics: adults, youth, and parents associated with adoption, foster care and kinship care
Direct beneficiaries per year: Adult adoptee/ foster alum/ kinship care alum, youth adoptees/ foster care/ kinship care, and the parents of those youth.
Geographic areas served: Columbus Ohio
Programs: discussion and support groups, youth mentoring groups and service activities.
