Mission: The Eisenhower IKE Center, founded in 1971, is among the largest Vocational Rehabilitation Centers for Adults with Disabilities in the United States. The Center has grown to embody the opportunity for those told of their limits, to dream of new possibilities. To strive for both physical and financial independence through mentored training with the ability to work for a paycheck and a fuller life with meaning for themselves and the greater community.
Results: With great pride and an eye on independence we have established our own venture: Ike's Gourmet – America’s Dog Treat Cookie Company. Our bakeries offer Vegan Grain-Free Dog Treats using the finest and freshest Natural Gluten-Free Ingredients while Creating Jobs for Adults with Disabilities. As a nonprofit, all our proceeds are reinvested into our Chefs, Adults with Disabilities at the IKE Center.

Programs: The Center, spanning more than 70,000 sq. ft., offers a full range of light manufacturing services fulfilling the needs of a growing list of corporate partners. From labeling, packaging, and shipping to retooling, finishing, and baking, our staff oversees an eager crew of more than 100 Clients, Adults with Disabilities, who take tremendous pride in their work and the companies who entrust them. Our Clients are taught, trained, and inspired by our caring staff who understand the potential of each individual. The needs of each Client are addressed from basic hygiene to more advanced physical, mental, and emotional issues. All within a safe and nurturing environment filled with an atmosphere of family love and happiness.
