Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Mental Health, Substance Abuse Dependency, Prevention & Treatment
Mission: Provide meaningful opportunities, resources and available support service navigation to men and women who are recovering from mental illness and/or a diagnosised substance abuse dependency to develop a greater sense of self-value while actively participating in their own recovery and treatment.
Programs: Implement national strategy for suicide prevention (nssp). Goal/objective to prevent suicide among working age adults (25-64) and reduce overall suicide by implementing a comprehensive suicide prevention program withing junctions and the community. Services include evidence based screening, assessment, interventions, treatments, follow-up, prevention and community education. Services are person-centered, trauma-informed, evidence based, culturally competent, and integrated within a recovery oriented system of care.
mental/behavioral health services: 200+ low income individuals provided with mental/behavioral health services including screenings, assessments, referral/admission to higher levels of care, individual counseling and group/family counseling.
