Mission: Join us in promoting awareness to protect our marine life. With your help and the help of divers, we can clean up the ocean floors and build artificial reefs along the gulf coast to sustain the marine life for our future generations. We are steadfast on cleaning our costal beaches, roadways, and waters. In addition to cleaning our waters beaches, and roads our hope is to work with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to enforce laws against the abuse of marine life and help write legislation that protects all marine life.

Results: Dive For A Cause Inc. was established in August 2017. In a short time, we have accomplished a lot of goals. First and foremost we completed the filling and obtained our 501(c)(3) status declaring us a non-profit organization. We have received the highest level of recognition, Platinum, from GuideStar declaring us an utterly transparent organization. We have been granted approval and have been listed on Amazon Smile as a charity that individuals can select to make donations. Shortly after the creation of our charity the South West Coast of Florida was hit by Hurricane Irma. Several homes were destroyed, and several more had no power for 14 or more days. Dive For A Cause Inc. hosted an event raising $1000.00 in three hours which was presented to 2-1-1 Tampa Bay Cares to distribute to those affected. We met the incredible staff of Diveheart and allied to help individuals who are unable to dive, experience diving to relieve the stresses and struggles they face on a daily basis. Dive For A Cause became affiliated with our home dive shop Hurly’s Wet Adventures LLC. In Tarpon Springs. The Staff at this store are some of the kindest people we had the privilege of meeting. This dive shop provides gear, tanks, air, and charters for our organization at no cost to our volunteers. Members of our group have joined Clearwater Marine Aquarium on the Dive and Rescue Teams and volunteer their time to give back to this excellent program. We have a small FaceBook Store with various D.F.A.C. apparel for purchased including customs shirts, drink koozies, and sports bands. We have initiated and completed profiles on all most all social media available to include FaceBook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr, LinkedIn, Google, and Yelp. Lastly, D.F.A.C. holds a position on the board of the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce as well as acquiring the DAN Business Member status.

What can be better than nice people trying to help you help others and have fun doing it ?Thank you to Dive for a Cause who did just that! 2-1-1 Tampa Bay Cares helps over 100,000 people every year with problems ranging from homelessness, health and hunger to eviction and abuse. These calls grew exponentially from hurricane Irma. Unfortunately there were more people in need than available money to help. In came Dive for a Cause to the rescue. They took the time to learn about what we do and within two weeks staged "Rockin' for Relief" a fundraiser. All we had to do was show up. From this one event we added many to our giving community and helped several families with expenses that would not have been helped anywhere else. We are so thankful to have met the amazing team at Dive for a Cause and our community is the better for it.

My wife and I were looking for skydiving lessons, and mistakenly booked a session with Dive For A Cause. We quickly learned that Dive For A Cause does NOT use airplanes or parachutes for their "dives". I was initially disappointed, as it's been my life long dream to jump out of a plane and kiss God's rich, blue sky, but after Brock explained to me what it is they do, I was still disappointed, but also jazzed that I get to save the environment from now on. Thank you Dive For A Cause for a memorable honeymoon. Five stars!

With the help of this non profit it helped raise $1000.00 for victims of hurricane Irma in the community and has adopted a mile to help keep it's community clean. It has reached out to seek input to fellow divers and non diver to restore and maintain the ocean and it's reefs
