Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Children & Youth, Youth Development Programs
Mission: Our program offers students from all backgrounds an opportunity to be empowered, in an inclusive safe space, and excel in STEEAM experiences while collaborating about personal care chemistry and entrepreneurship.
Results: At Detroit CHEMpreneurIST, we believe that the future belongs to those who explore, innovate, and dream big. Over the past year, we've ignited curiosity and empowered Detroit’s youth through hands-on personal care chemistry and entrepreneurship education. In 2024, with the support of 16 incredible partners, we brought 85 interactive workshops to over 1,600 students and community members in Metro Detroit. The results is a growing community of future chemists, entrepreneurs, and changemakers who now see science and business as pathways to success!

Programs: In collaboration with our partners, we offer afterschool programs, summer camps, in-school workshops, and community events, ensuring that students have access to engaging learning opportunities year-round. Our innovative programs teach students how to formulate personal care products, explore the chemistry behind skincare and cosmetics, and develop entrepreneurial skills like branding, marketing, and pitching business ideas.
