Mission: DBCC’s mission is to empower our community by raising awareness of breast health issues through outreach, education and support services, in order to facilitate early detection and treatment of breast cancer.
Geographic areas served: State of Delaware; Chester County, PA; Cecil Cty, MD and other surrounding communities
Programs: Education programs/exibit tours - peer mentoring that offers one-on-one support and education for those newly diagnosed and also long-term survivors.
sussex/kent county outreach - programs for various populations, liaisons between healthcare and community resources, addressing various issues related to detection, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.
women's mobile health screening - operates a mobile mammography van to provide high quality mammograms to communities throughout the state that most need access to this service.
