Went to DAWN today with a friend who needed assistance. She has never been on assistance and I had never been there either, except to donate items. I explained that we had never been there before. The gentleman at the sign-in desk was so RUDE. First he asked if we had our documents and I did not know what he meant. He pointed to a sign, but the sign said, "Effective Jan 2018..." and I explained we were still in December. He just huffed, shook his head and made us feel like he didn't want to help us. Yes, there were a lot of people there, but he did not have to be RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. We left. And I have donated a lot of food items to this cause and our church just had a food drive as well. Although this is a good cause, this man needs to stop being RUDE.
