CLC is a wonderful organization with a staff of loving, caring people. They are some of the most compassionate people I know! The people who benefit from this group are loved, supported, and encouraged to do their best each day. The difference this trend-setting organization has made to the industry is second to none!
CLC is an amazing organization helping people with disabilities to have a life full of opportunities with the highest quality of life. The people working at CLC have the passion and love to help residents learning new abilities and live independently. furthermore, CLC residents make a difference in the community with their work and energy.
CLC is focused on providing their residents with the highest quality of life and most vibrant independence possible, but in doing so, they are impacting the greater community by investing in people who only need a little help to make a big difference in the lives around them. CLC residents work, worship, volunteer, shop, dine, play and participate in their communities at a high level, and are constantly contributing to the community in many ways. I have worked for CLC in the past and seen the dedication and love of their staff - who are undervalued as an industry, especially by legislators - and it is inspiring to families emerge from groups of people who otherwise would only be housemate, clients, and staff. CLC fosters true community with their residents, staff, leadership, partners, families, and everyone who is fortunate enough to be associated with them. I have also volunteered, donated, promoted and partnered with CLC in many capacities, and not only do they do amazing work - with great discernment of how to best spend their very limited resources - but they are also industry leaders in their services, setting the bar of excellence with 50 years of experience. I always say people usually have a handful of things they support. I hope more and more people create a spot for CLC in their heart and in their time/talent/treasure so this organization can continue changing all of our lives for decades to come. If you have never interacted with CLC, spend an hour in one of the group homes, and you will be changed forever.
CLC is a wonderful organization of caring staff and volunteers. The people who benefit from this group are loved, supported, and encouraged to do their best each day whether caring for themselves or supporting their housemates. I can't say enough about Community Living Centers. Their purpose is to encourage growth and as much independence possible for each individual so that they may feel respected and live with dignity.
