When joining the Board I was new to the whole concept of needed child care services; it was something that I took for granted, that other people would take care of. My experience in working the 4C's has been life changing for me. I don't wnat to 'over-dramatize' the issue but I now believe that the whole concept of child care needs to be at the top of all funding lists, especially State and ofther government funding sources. I attribute my awareness to the 4C organization itself and all its management and staff members. Over the past year we have added several new board members who are professiionals from different fields, i.e., medical doctors, hispanic chamber, personnel services. These new members have helped to add strength and depth to the organization. 4C's is one of the best run organizations that I have ever had the privilege to be a part of.
