Comfort Socks

Thanks you Comfort Socks for providing us such wonderful socks for our Connect Richmond event. We serviced around 550 individuals facing homelessness. The socks were top quality and not one single person left without a new pair of socks. I am so thankful that we have you to help us with our events. You are a huge blessing to us and to the people in need in our community.

Comfort socks is a wonderful organization that helps so many by providing socks for the homeless. Theresa Tese the founder of this organization is driven by her compassion, love, empathy and her Christian values to carry out the Lords word and always lend a helping hand to someone less fortunate. This organization is one that our country should be proud of. We need more people like Theresa Tese and her volunteers that unselfishly give their time, and support to others. May this organization continue to be successful, grow and be provided with the necessary resources to carry out this amazing service.

I absolutely love socks. Comfort Socks Rocks in my book. I remember living on the streets addicted to meth and my socks almost rotting off my feet I was so high. A new pair and a shower worked a miracle in my life. I spend my days givings socks out to homeless people and helping to encourage them to try something different. I met comfort socks through a friend that works with my favorite people. Teresa Tese at comfort socks loves homeless people and has heart to get socks to as many homeless shelters and people across America. They are movement on the move. I nominate them for Nonprofit of the year. So can you by giving, praying for, and getting the word out.

Be The Change ask for help with sock and boom it was there. They provided us socks to help the homeless In our community almost immediately. Thank you so much for your help.

Comfort Socks provides more than socks....they offer warmth, compassion, christian love, and peace of mind to those in need. Our church offers a program called "Room in the Inn". We pick up 8 homeless men and bring them back to church where we offer them warm showers, their own room for the night, dinner and breakfast and lunch the next day. When they find their bed - they receive a few pairs of "Comfort Socks". They are always extremely grateful to have new socks to replace the ones they have. We are so thankful to have partnered with Comfort Socks! This organization is top-notch!

Our church has collected socks and bandanas several times for Comfort Socks to distribute to the homeless. This is a wonderful charity/mission that works hard year round to help keep clean dry socks on the feet of those who have the greatest of need. May God richly bless you all and your contributors as well as those receiving.

I have watched comfort socks grow into such an amazing non profit.It has overcome some obstacles.The founder Theresa Tese has met these challenges head on. I am proud to know such a women of integrity .She not only stores them, and packs them , she will go practically anywhere to help the homeless. Her mission is from the LORD but the love is from the Heart !

Comforts Socks lives up to their slogan, "Comfort the Feet, Comfort the Soul", by touching the lives of so many in need far and wide by one simple gesture, providing socks. Through providing this item (that many take for granted) to those in need they are extending a physical hand of Christ, showing love and kindness, and oneness with those of our fellow men and woman who are experiencing a time of great need (materially, spiritually, physically and emotionally). To some they may see it as just a pair of socks, but I have seen firsthand that it is so much more than that. To anyone who doubts, I challenge you to go visit a local homeless populated area and take socks to the individuals there, then you will know firsthand why what Comfort Socks does is so very important. May they continue to do what they do for many, many years and may the message of hope through Jesus Christ travel alongside with them!

I have been working closely with Comfort Socks for 8 years now. I love that they serve the homeless all over the country and make sure the homeless veterans always have socks. This is one great and caring charity.

I learned about Comfort Socks through a mutual Facebook friend and decided to present to our church the opportunity to support this wonderful charity. Our church collected socks and we shipped them to Comfort Socks confident that they would be used to help many homeless persons across the USA. It's a great thing that they do!

This organization is based in a little corner on the North Carolina coast. The generosity could have been limited to Brunswick County or even just NC, but instead they are reaching out across our nation. It's hard to fathom when one is not in the situation that after food, socks are the most requested item. It's one of those things that would not come to my mind. Suitcase or other carrying case, clothes, etc, but socks? What a wonderful way to share the warmth of one's heart by bringing the warmth to the feet of those in need.

When we go to serve 600+ homeless and low income members of our community in the greater Richmond area, the one thing that we always lacked was enough clean socks. That was before we found out about Comfort Socks! Over the past few years there have been many grateful hearts and big smiles of those who receive their new socks.

I've volunteered with and donated to many worthy charities over the years. But I have to say -- before learning of Comfort Socks, I had not given much thought to the difference a clean, warm pair of socks can make to a homeless person. Theresa's focus and dedication have opened my eyes and made a difference in how I give.

Thank you for all you do to help groups helping the homeless! What a relief to know that we can count on you in our annual efforts.

Theresa Tese is the most dedicated person I have ever met in regards to helping the homeless with socks. Homeless people are in great need especially in the cold winter months, and her continued solicitation for socks, greatly helps these people. She deserves only the utmost in reconginition for her dedicated service and hard work.

Comfort Socks is an efficient, focused non profit that does one thing and one thing only - provide thousands of socks to the homeless. President, Theresa Tese is a Spirit filled woman who has put her life into this non-profit and it shows. This non-profit blesses so many people through Theresa's careful organization. Comfort Socks is a unique non-profit because blessings come to both ends of this mission. Anyone can get involved by collecting socks no matter where they live. Many of the young people have stepped up to the plate to collect socks at their schools and it is this non-profits simple mission that allows everyone to take part. God has used Comfort Socks to bless the people the who give socks and the people who receive them.

Comfort Socks is such a blessing to so many people. I had never really thought about how it would be not to have clean socks or any socks for that matter until I learned of the ministry of Comfort Socks. Comfort Socks has reached out to so many homeless and less fortunate people all over the US. They have allowed people that had no hope to know that someone really cares. They are such a compassionate group of people. I really appreciate all that they do to serve. God bless you all!

Comfort Socks has been a blessing to the homeless in Richmond Virginia. For the past 3 years Comfort Socks has helped by providing socks for us to distribute at Homeward VA's "Homeless Connect" event. Our church provides donated clothing to individuals in our community who are homeless or facing homelessness. Without Comfort Socks support we wouldn't have enough socks to distribute during this event.

Just love the Comfort Socks mission, so simple yet so powerful. It's a joy knowing that every pair of socks touches someone in a unique way - I am touched too. Keep up the great work Comfort Socks - your mission does indeed give the homeless a break from their pain and frustration.

Comfort Socks is an amazing organization! I work with StandUp For Kids Seattle, a nonprofit organization that works directly with homeless youth. Our mission is to reach kids who are living on the street and to help in whatever way we can. Comfort Socks has been our wonderful partner in providing something essential and treasured to these kids -- clean, fresh socks.

We are forever grateful to Comfort Socks for their incredible dedication in this important mission!

I just never understood the power of a pair of socks until I learned about Comfort Socks. Now I go about with an awareness I never experience before, thanks to their mission.
