donor request for blankets. Purchased 250 blankets. Blankets are distributed at 3 locations - columbus cancer care, hemotology oncology consultants (hoc) and same day services columbus community hospital.
gas card program. Cancer patients that live in the rural setting, that drive 30 miles or more one way, qualify for a 50 gas card. One card per patient per calendar year. Gas cards are purchased at hyvee and can be used for other needs as well (food/prescriptions). Given to 3 patients in 2015.
