Mission: The colonial club senior activity center is a progressive community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the well being and independence of older adults in northeast dane county. Using consensus, empowerment, and teamwork, we provide activities and services to meet the needs of our clientele. As an all-inclusive organization and in conjunction with our board of directors, advisory council, volunteers, and staff, we foster individuality, independence, and inspiration for all seniors.
Programs: Colonial club provided 2,549 hours of case management services to 283 different clients and an additional 19. 5 hours of medical assistance case management to 1 client. Also, 17,012 hours of care were provided to 46 people utilizing the adult day center, 5,479 hours of supportive home care services were provided to 97 clients, and about 38,051 miles were provided by our transportation services.
colonial club delivered 24,916 meals to 376 older adults in seven difference municipalities as dane county's second largest caterer to seniors. Colonial club ensured that seniors throughout northeast dane county had nutritious hot meals.
colonial club's recreation, social, and educational programs and activities are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults by annually offering over 47 educational, entertainment, board and card games, physical activities and health related programs on a regular basis, 35 adult education classes, 4 support groups, and several one-time special events including 16 day trips. Volunteers, including senior volunteers, annually provide over 15,500 hours of service to the colonial club.
