Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Atchison clubs for kids is a not for profit foundation whose mission is to unite progressive community leaders with qualified deserving young people to create and nurture an empowerment and educational base for both, while utilizing the honorable game of golf as a building tool, providing an opportunity to embellish the "lesson of life" through the fundamentals of golf.
Programs: Annual clubs for kids golf classic raises funds for the purchase of clubs, bags, shoes, shirts, balls and club memberships, as well as provides funding for the scholarships. This program teaches character and values.

Enrolled as a middle or high school student in atchison county, kansas. 2. Must be in 8th - 12th grade during the specified school year. Applicants must complete an essay on a specified topic, participate in extracurricular activities, have recommendations from community members and maintain a minimum gpa of 2. 50. The scholarship committee selects winners of the scholarships. 13 scholarships were awarded in 2013.
