Mission: The organization is organized and shall be administered and operated exclusively to receive, administer, and expend funds to promote and represent the common business interests of, and improve business conditions among, members of the health care industry, within the meaning of section 501(c)(6) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended (or any corresponding provision of any subsequent federal tax laws), and specifically to attempt to correct problems in the medical liability system (in order, inter alia, to make health care more affordable and available in the commonwealth of pennsylvania). No part of the net earnings of the organization shall inure to the benefit of any member, director, officer, or other private person or individual.
