Mission: The organization is a grass roots, parent run organization committed to ensuring that families of children with behavioral, social, emotional, developmental and learning challenges have access to needed information, support and services within western new york. The organization does this by working to strengthen family support services, promote awareness of children's mental health issues, and foster equal partnerships between parents/caretakers and childrens service providers of all types.
Programs: Provide a voice for families of children with emotional, behavioral, social, developmental, and learning challenges served by our general membership peer family support entities in 19 counties in wny via the director's participation in child serving planning councils, community education forums, gathering actual family voice input for reporting to service planning committees, etc. The number of families receiving direct educational services and support from the organization is approximately more than 300.
