Causes: Child Abuse Prevention, Crime & Law, Domestic Violence
Mission: It is the mission of the Children’s Crisis Center of Stanislaus County to provide child abuse prevention, intervention and shelter services to abused, neglected and at-risk children in Stanislaus County. Our immediate goal is to reach children at-risk and intervene with protective childcare and emergency shelter before they are harmed.

Programs: Respite child care: the provision of protective childcare and emergency shelter to high risk children, birth to 17 years of age, who were facing emergency family situations that threaten the childs safety and well being. A total of 10,353 children received 40,399 days of service, amounting to 223,409 hours of direct care and supervision. The organization also offers the following sub components of respite child care:familyline: 24-hour phone service providing crisis counseling and referral information to individuals in pre-crisis and cirisi situations. 52,051 familyine calls were served. Case management: case managers provided crisis counseling, guidance and non judgemental support to assist high risk parents facing circumstances of overwhelming stress threatening the safety and well being of their children. 4,929 families servedparent education: educational instruction and learning opportunities ere made available to high risk parents struggling with parenting issues usch as nutrition, domestic violence, substance abuse, housing and child development. 4,929 parents served.
