Mission: The volunteer intern program allows individuals to get involved in an international non-profit organization through hands on experience. The vip treats interns as employees, encouraging independence, originality, and a stress free environment. As an intern at children beyond our borders, you can help change the life of a child and also connect with hundreds of volunteers and former interns in governmental and non-governmental agencies all over the world. Bound for peace is a service trip that sends volunteers to work with impoverished and at-risk youth. Iamcbob is our scholarship program for students who wish to attend college. Students who demonstrate a strong desire to acquire a higher level of education, we provide an all-expenses paid ride to college. These students must be motivated to work to their best and fullest capacity while in school and to also give back to their communities by participating in civic engagement activities.
Programs: Bound for peace service trip program -took over 90 volunteers to work abroad to three different countries. -worked with over 500 children -delivered 500 backpacks to children in colombia and ecuador

I am currently interning for Children Beyond Our Borders and I can't even explain all the amazing things it has opened my eyes to. Not only am I learning about the non-profit sector, but I am learning about their mission and goals. Every individual that is part of this organizations is so passionate and enthusiastic toward helping children of the world. They truly embody what the organization stands for and it shows through their hard work and dedication. They make volunteering such a personable experience, where you directly see the positive impact your making on the community and individuals. I am honored and blessed to be a part of their team!
