Mission: Child in hand's mission is to provide an integrated program of medical, psychosocial, and sports interventions designed to treat and train international communities of children and caregivers in post-conflict and disaster environments. Through a combined wellness and treatment program, child in hand clinicians identify and treat existing medical and psychosocial conditions, while at the same time implementing a comprehensive nutrition/vaccination program designed to promote healthy growth.
Programs: Child in hand's train the trainers program focuses on training caregivers and community leaders basic skills in medical and psychosocial intervention. Child in hand also provides a sports and arts outreach program, as well as basic needs such as food, water, clothing, beds and school supplies.
