Programs: Staffed almost entirely by volunteers, the charlotte volunteer fire department provides fire suppression, hazardous material spill response and other emergency services to the town of charlotte, vermont and the surrounding communities. Over 20 volunteer firefighters provided over 3,500 hours of services while responding to nearly 200 calls.
