Programs: Provide sub-acute medical care and medical management of the detoxification process for those suffering from the disease of alcoholism and other chemical dependencies. 1,430 adults (men and women) were admitted into the medical detox service in the fiscal year. Nursing service is provided around the clock and medical supervision of this critical phase of the treatment process is both on-site and by telephone communication. 72% of the persons admitted into detox experienced a planned discharge, of those, 31% experience a seamless transfer to either day treatment or the residential treatment services at the center. 92% of patients had household income at or below the federal poverty level.
clinical treatment for substance use disorders are available on either a residential or outpatient basis. In the fiscal year, 557 adults (men and women) were admitted into the residential program and 12 into the intensive outpatient program. 82% of residential patients experienced a planned discharge and some of those admissions transferred to outpatient for an extended treatment. 92% of patients had household income at or below the poverty level.
