Adopted my little girl I'm so happy and this is such a great place. If you are wanting a beautiful fur baby. I would highly recommend this organization
Catrangers is a great rescue organization. We adopted Druid and you can tell that he was definitely loved and well cared for before he became part of our family. They have caring and loving fosters who go the extra mile.
Cat Rangers is an excellent cat rescue. They are a small organization that focuses on taking in kitties that no one else will help. They take in cats with medical issues and give them an opportunity to get better and have a good life. They also try to help local residents who need help with kitties. The cats live in fosters or in the Adoption Center which is a home. The environment is loving and makes the cats feel comfortable and makes it easier for them to be adopted. I highly recommend this rescue.

Cat Rangers is the best cat rescue I have ever worked with. They have a great Adoption Center that is a home set up for kitties so they can live like they will when they get adopted. It is also great because adopters can see kitties in a free roaming environment. Cat Rangers takes on kitties with medical issues without hesitation. They also go far beyond what other rescues do with their vetting. Every decision is made based on what is best for the cat. I highly recommend this organization.
Cat Rangers is the most unique and extraordinary free-roaming cat shelter on earth. This organization goes above and beyond to rescue cats and kittens in need and gives them a home like environment to feel safe and flourish in, while waiting for their fur-ever home. As soon as you walk into the center you are greeted with and surrounded by love, from cats of all ages, shapes, sizes, colors and personalities. If you are looking for an amazing experience and are considering adopting a cat, then look no further. Please go in and open your heart and home to a shelter kitty in need and feel the power and love that only rescue can deliver… Cat Rangers is the best ❤️
I started volunteering over 2 years ago, Cat Rangers welcomed me with open arms (or paws). on this 2 years I’ve fostered, adopted and being part of the process of rescuing. Cat Rangers changes lives, not only cats lives but also humans! And I’m grateful every day for being part of this change!

I’ve been volunteering at CatRangers for over a year and it changed my life! I started volunteering for my mental health and it has been one of the best decisions I ever made! I met incredible people and we all have something in common: the love for animals, I’ve witnessed their love and care for cats, rehabilitating and changing life’s of cats AND people! CatRangers is a place for EVERYONE, you’ll be filled with love from our cats and will want to come back all the time!
Cat Rangers helps an endless number of cats in the community as well as cats from other places. The volunteers that work for this organization are amazing and do great things for these animals. I enjoy fostering for them and will continue to do so! One of the biggest and best rescues in Gwinnett County!
This is the best cat rescue group I have ever seen. The adoptable cats are not housed in crates or cages. They live in an actual house, just as they do when adopted. The adoption process includes reference checks and a virtual or in person home visit to make sure they have a successful adoption. Catrangers works with area veterinarians and the volunteers and fosters for the kittens are impeccable. I have adopted from them, volunteered for them and donated to them.
Catrangers’ volunteers run a home-like shelter for cats, organize, vet, and facilitate pet fostering and adoptions, and give wise, compassionate advice and referrals re: TNR and vet care for community cats. Their volunteers have given incredibly generously of their time and effort as we’ve worked to care for abandoned and feral cats in our neighborhood.
Catrangers is amazing! I adopted a kitten from Catrangers. They rescued his mom who was in a horrible hoarding situation and provided her with all of the care she needed as well as the kittens. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and caring and have incredible devotion toward this cause.
Cat Rangers provides badly needed services to support and care for the cat rescue community. They display deep caring and empathy in their continuous care through their Rescue efforts. They have assisted me in rescuing several cats from my neighborhood, finding and vetting adopters, and providing a home for cats while adopters are found. They have also been a great resource for providing referrals for TNR and healthcare for community cats.
We've been volunteering at CatRangers for a few months. We'd looked at several pet finder apps and CatRangers is better by far. The cats are healthy well cared for. The caretakers socialize with the cats as preparation for adoption. The adoption center has home-like surroundings and the cats are content. We adopted our Miracle and the process was very thorough but easy. CatRangers truly cares for the cats and requires a signature on a promise to return the cat to the center if the adoption doesn't work out.
I have recommended CatRangers to many people and I recommend it to you, also.
Wonderful cat rescue. Everyone is caring and works really hard to provide a good home for the cats. Wonderful kitties too!
I have volunteered thrice at this place so far, and they use the money they receive to make the most heartwarming, everyday lives for these cats. They not only have a community board chat to discuss the cats, their social lives, and health, they give lots of love and attention to these fellas and ensure cleanliness. I wish I could take home the cats, they're so well treated and behave well. Cats are kept in various rooms to ensure their personalities and natures won't clash.
My daughter and I dropped into Cat Rangers one Saturday afternoon nearly a year ago. I was blown away by the set up of a home environment for these precious rescues to live in.
Running a rescue in a comfortable space and not cages is a concept I wish every shelter and rescue would adopt. Cat Rangers truly does prepare its residents for a smooth transition into their forever homes.
These cats and kittens are tended to by a loving staff and volunteers that work tirelessly to ensure their comfort and care.
Their team understands cat behavior, their dietary and medical needs, the importance of socialization and regular veterinary care.
Cat Rangers is also top notch at pairing the right cats or kittens with the right home. All of their adopters are properly vetted and I love seeing all the success stories when adoptions happen.
This non-profit is wholly deserving of more recognition in their efforts to help find homes for all its residents and fosters as well as helping to reduce the population of unwanted cats by providing spay and neuter for every cat in their care. They accept cats from kill shelters, owner surrenders, feral and found. They truly are making a difference in our community.
I volunteer at Cat Rangers usually six days a week. An amazing free roam house with cats galore. I especially enjoy working with the shy cats to help them trust and feel safe and loved. It is so rewarding when they get adopted. The cats give me so much more than I could ever give them.
We adopted 2 amazing cats from Cat Rangers. They do everything possible to ensure these cats are going to loving homes. I recommend Cat Rangers to anyone who’s looking to adopt a cat!
This is a great rescue. The work they do saving cats and finding them homes is difficult but they continue with their mission.
We adopted a brother and sister kitten pair from Cat Rangers. The girl sadly passed away from a genetic illness that stumped even the vets, but her brother is doing fine and he is a great addition to our family!
We adopted two kitties this year, Cat Rangers was very helpful and walk us trough everything. They are very professional and answered all our questions. We are very grateful they helped us find the perfect kitties for our family!
CatRangers is unique in metro Atlanta -- they are the only rescue that performs site visits to ensure that the kitties they place will be in an appropriate home, less likely to be "returned." Through CatRangers' work rescuing feral and death row cats, I was able to adopt my sweet older cat, Scooter.
Cat Rangers should be called Cat Angels. They take the fearful and turn them into fantastic fur babies. From dire situations the kitties are placed with loving fosters or raise at the Cat Chateau. They develop into loving lifelong companions.
I’ve been following this group for years. They are very committed to helping cats no matter of the circumstance. I’ve seen them raise thousands of dollars for cats in need of surgery. I love seeing photos of the cats when they are happy in their new forever homes. Everyone wants to be loved ❤️ and the cats they take in certainly are. This organization deserves kudos!
A few weeks after losing my first cat to a genetic heart condition in February 2021, a volunteer from Cat Rangers reached out about a new kitten who had just been rescued from a squirrel’s nest. I was honored that the volunteer had thought of me, and so even though I was still in the grieving process, I decided to meet the kitten. Her name was Sandy Cheeks, and she was a bit shy but a true snuggle bug with the volunteer she had grown close to. I met her less than a week later, and I absolutely fell in love. While devastated with the loss of my first cat, I am convinced that everything happens for a reason, and I was absolutely meant to be Sandy Cheeks’ (now named Dewey) human mom.
Cat Rangers takes into account both the adopter’s personality and lifestyle into account when recommending a cat, and they do a perfect job of matching folks. Dewey is my coworker, snuggle buddy, and emotional support cat. She follows me everywhere (even in the bathroom). I’ve recently moved from Atlanta, Georgia to Anaheim, California, and Dewey has made that life change easier to deal with. Yes, she took some time to adjust but I truly believe that together we can conquer everything.
I can’t thank Cat Rangers enough for matching me with the most wonderful, fluffy Mainecoon kitten (now cat). I’d recommend them to anyone looking to adopt their fluffy partner in crime.
Amazing support given for 2 beautiful kitties rescued from Qatar. Cat Rangers organized a very smooth transition for the beauties to be picked up from the airport & arrive to them. They were immediately placed with a loving caring foster family. They kept us in Qatar updated with their foster to adoption story which happened so quickly due to the attention given to sutras the word not to mention to ensure they were kept together being a bonded pair. Very grateful for the love & care..
Cat Rangers are the best! I adopted baby Cody Cosmos (aka Dustin) 4 years ago but it turned into a very stressful event. My older two kitties were so upset by the new kitten that they stopped eating, making a trip to the vet necessary. Heartbroken and sad, I called Sparrow at Cat Rangers and told her I needed to bring Cody back so I returned him and left crying. After about a week, I called Sparrow back and she had saved Cody for me! She knew I was going to be back for him. I was so grateful to Sparrow and Cat Rangers for working with me and keeping in constant communication while I reintroduced Cody. All went well and all three kitties are now living the good life together!
They are so attentive to the babies in the community. Literally these cats have no voice unless a non profit like catrangers steps in! They give love and hope for the babies that can't speak for themselves. Thank you for all that ya'll do.
I am very thankful for the hard work these people do in rescuing cats/kittens. Many times, the animals need surgery and cat rangers never fail in doing all they can to raise money for vet care, which sometimes is thousands of dollars.
We adopted a 5 month-old kitty named Monte in Sept 2020 from Cat Rangers and absolutely adore our purrfect family member! Monte was sick when he first arrived there and under Cat Rangers' care, he was nursed back to health as a perky little guy and we want to thank you so much for taking good care of him.
Cat Rangers has a very thorough application process, which really shows that they care about finding the perfect homes for kitties! We went through a background vetting phone call, a virtual house tour and a physical visit to the adoption center before taking Monte home. Given COVID, we appreciated the care they put into ensuring the adoption process was done safely, with staff wearing masks at all times and practices being put into place to ensure guests were in different rooms when touring. Moreover, Cat Rangers runs its Facebook page in a very consistent and organized manner to show adoption/donation opportunities, in order to help get more kitties their forever home, or secure the funds necessary to give them treatments for injuries. We saw Cat Rangers at a stall at our Town Hall at Suwanee Fair and showed our support for them. Solid work, passionate volunteers and genuine care for kitties!
My husband and I adopted our cat, Henry from CatRangers. They were wonderful to work with and helped us with information to make sure he was a perfect match for our family. He is such a wonderful boy and we are so grateful to them for bringing him into our lives!
This is a great organization! We adopted our sweet cat, Umberon, now Ravon, from them. The dedication snd hard work of the staff snd volunteers is outstanding! I would highly recommend this non-profit, as a leader in cat rescue!
I first went to Cat Rangers in 2017. I was looking for a new friend because I had lost my 17 year old kitty a few months before. One of the volunteers, Bonnie, greeted me right away and we talked about the kitties in my home and I said I was looking for a black cat because I knew they had a harder time finding homes. She introduced me to shy little 4 year old, Lenora, and it was love at first sight! Lenora came home to me and my kitty family about a week later, and after a few days of getting used to each other, my kitties settled in with their new family member and vice-versa. Lenora is a perfect sister to my boys and has an amazing purr!
From the time I set foot in Cat Rangers, I fell in love with its home atmosphere. Unless kitties are sick or quarantined in the basement vet area, no one is in a cage. These sweet babies have chairs, cat trees, windowsills So they can lounge and socialize in comfort. I also was impressed by how they checked out my references. This is why your kitty is brought home to you a few days later. They really care where the kitties go!
I started volunteering at Cat Rangers shortly after adopting Lenora. The first and main thing I noticed is how much LOVE is there for all of the kitties. The tech/vet area is only concerned with giving the best care possible , and fights for every cat who comes in. I have seen miracles from Cat Rangers firsthand. So many kitties who might have been given up on are now living great lives in their forever homes. The entire center is always kept up and clean too. The vet tech area is always super-clean and sterile.
The Cat Rangers human family is a great bunch of folks too! Everyone there just cares about the cats more than anything. We talk about the Cat Rangers cats, share the happy stories, and cry together at the sad ones. We also talk about our own cats too. It’s a big happy family that just loves the kitties above all else!
Rescue can be a tough line of work to be in but since I started working at CatRangers I feel so proud to be apart of such a incredible group of people who all have the very same goal! In the short time that I’ve been involved with CatRangers I have seen so much good that has revived me.
We have known Rick for several years now and he, the staff, and volunteers are incredible. You can immediately tell that their sincere dedication and passion for their precious feline friends is the real deal! They are always there not only to provide the utmost quality care for their fur babies, but also to answer your questions and help place you with the perfect companion for your family.
It all started with a little void cat that stumbled into my back yard. She was small, hungry and scared. After I fattened her up, and made sure she was adoptable, finding her a home was not that easy! Even for a young spayed love bug like Stardenburdenhardenbart (they just called her Star). I have since fostered 9 additional kitten, including a litter of 5, 2 kittens from Qatar, an injured kitten reduced from animal control and my last was a Russian Blue kitten that was trapped, unsocialized but also something there .... All have been adopted and their new parents send me pictures and it just fills me with love, and at the benefit of not adding permanently to my own brood of 4 cats. The staff is really supportive, answering questions, and following up for appointments and care. And I loved being a foster! In addition, I wanted to give back in other ways, so I also spend Saturdays, grooming, socializing cats at their center and got to know (almost) all of the kits there. The best part was watching them go for their furever home or finding out one of my favorites was adopted since the last time I was there. I have since moved away for work, but I just hope to find another organization with a similar mission. I know how in some shelters/rescues dogs can overshadow cats, but I was so pleased they really focus on just cats.
I have so enjoyed visiting the center with my daughter to visit the kitties and nice people who run CatRangers. All of the kitties were lovely with us and were all happy and healthy looking. We will definitely be back each time we are in the area.
I have been volunteering with Cat Rangers for over a year and have the utmost respect and gratitude for this amazing group. Not only do they save hundreds of lives a year, but the cats get the best care and lots of TLC while waiting to find their forever home. They are a cage free shelter and you can tell the cats are very happy there until they get adopted.
This is a wonderful organization that saves the lives of homeless cats. The shelter that the cats reside in is not a shelter but a house. When you walk in the door, you feel like you are at home. It's decorated nicely, it smells clean and cats are comfortable and well cared for. This is a wonderful organization and I highly recommend them.
Had yet another amazing experience at the Center yesterday. If you are currently looking for a quality adoption facility - go visit Sparrow and Rick to find your fur-ever baby. I am not only an adopter, but a foster now to help with their growing family of needy cats and kitties.
Personally, I just lost one of my rescues due to a uterine rupture. In my moment of despair and sorrow - they opened their ears and shoulder to me in my time of need. Thank you again for everything you do for all of us - furry or not! :)
Catrangers is a professionally run organization and is well managed through its operations manager and her supporting team. They are a non kill shelter and they make sure all cats are well looked after. They provide a relaxed atmosphere for the cats in an open environment. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking to adopt a cat or kitten to go and visit and see for themselves what a great facility this is.
I have been volunteering at Cat Rangers for 1 & 1/2 years now and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience there. The founders truly love cats and kitties and have given me many opportunities to serve. The cats are well cared for both medically and relationally. When a car is adopted they don't go home right away. The cat is delivered by a staff person or volunteer to assess that the cat's future home is appropriate. The fact that they go the extra mile in this area told me how much they care and how committed they are to the animals. I have enjoyed getting to know many people in the cat rescue field, have learned much (and keep learning!) and plan to continue volunteering at this unique and wonderful shelter.
We love volunteering here! The CatRangers rescue cats that would otherwise be euthanized in a no kill / no cage shelter where the find them furever homes!
Both of our cats died in the last two years and we were missing having cats but not in the position to have a cat in our home for various reasons. We heard about This shelter and decided to volunteer. They are a wonderful no kill and no cage shelter! They are in touch with various kill shelters and rescue cats before they are euthanized. It is such a great environment because the cats are not kept on shelves or in cages but have an entire house to roam free in. They also find foster homes for cats who have special needs until they can be adopted. They do such a great job of helping cats that arrive with health issues and of finding their cats good furever homes!
Hands down one of the best places for kitties I have ever seen. Staff really makes you feel at home too. There are so many beautiful cats just waiting for that special someone.
This place is an awesome rescue and resource for cat behavior. Sparrow and her staff (including volunteers) do a tremendous job with rescuing felines, making them adoptable, educating people and giving the felines a safe haven to live until adopted. They also do work with other rescues and feral cat placement.
You need to stop by and meet Sparrow, Janice, Karen, Bonnie, Scott, Michael, Rick and the others there to truly experience how great this place is.
Catrangers is an amazing organization that helps countless animals in dire situations. The love and compassion they give to each rescue is unsurpassed. We moved from the Buford area to Nashville and continue to follow and donate praying each time others find themselves able to donate as well. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your incredible selfless work!!!!
