Mission: Catalyst connection is an economic development organization whose mission is to advance the performance of small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in southwestern pennsylvania by accelerating their growth and productivity improvements.
Programs: Operations- conduct seminars, sponsor forums, provide technical advisory services, promote social welfare.
smdi is a supply chain development initiative assisting manufacturers in entering supply chains of larger oems including the department of defense through market introduction (marcellus shale), new product development (additive), adopting export (itar) and process control technologies (iso), and more. Shared services provided to economic development organizations focused on supporting small manufacturers.
workforce- provide training and education through work-based school to work programs, develop a properly skilled workforce to support manufacturing and technology based enterprises.
mtlf- promote the development and deployement of advanced technology in the regions through the manufacturing technology loan fund, mon valley manufacturing fund and manufacturing growth cooperative fund programs to strengthen and revitalize the southwestern pennsylvania small and medium-sized manufacturing economy and lessen the burdens of government.
