Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Deep East Texas trains and supervises volunteers to speak in court for child victims of abuse and neglect, in order to effectively prepare them for a hopeful, productive future in a safe, permanent home
Results: We have increased the amount of time, this past year, recruiting and training new staff and volunteers in order to better serve the child victims of abuse and neglect in our area. This increase in staff and volunteers has enabled us to move into larger offices.
Target demographics: Child victims of abuse/neglect, ages 0-18 years old, in Nacogdoches County.
